8 Lanes
Phototransistor finishing
Switchbox
LED finish indicators.
Windows Based Software
LCD projector to display race results.
Seperate Microcontroller to handle the race timing.
Each race is timed.
Each car will race once in each lane.
Slowest heat time is discarded (thus one bad race won't hurt your score).
Seven best heat times are added together to get the top 50 finishers.
Top 50 are re-run to determine the final winners.
